Youth in Focus presents our first online youth question challenge!
Have you tried calling our game show but our lines were busy? Well, this is your chance to get your name into our famous drawing bowl and have the opportunity to win $50 for first place and $25 each for second and third place. You have from now until midnight (PST) Monday 1/28/08 to answer the following questions and email them to youth@salaamtv.org Please also include your first and last name, state you live in, and age. On our 1/30/08 game show, we will announce the names of those who answered all the questions correctly. Those individuals will have a head start in the game show with their name already in the bowl, which will increase their chance of winning. Answer the following questions completely:
1. How was Hazrat Muslim related to the Prophet, and who murdered Hazrat Muslims’ two sons Mohammad and Ibrahim?
2. Why did Imam Hussain (as) and his companions rise against Yazid’s regime?
3. What day in the month of Muharram did Yazid’s army commanders order their men to stop water from reaching Imam Hussain (as) and his companions?
4. Who was the first person that joined Imam Hussain’s army from the opposing side, and why did he join?
5. Who was the flag bearer of Imam Hussain’s (as) army?
6. Who were the first two people that carried on the message of Imam Hussain (as) after his martyrdom?
